Sip on craft cocktails while enjoying breathtaking panoramic views of the Kwahu landscape from exclusive rooftop venues.

  1. The "Wrap Up" Parties (Easter Monday): Events held on the final day to close out the festival.

  2. The Ultimate Rooftop Experience: A specific high-end venue that defines the Kwahu skyline—most notably Rock City Hotel, which offers the premier rooftop-style experience in the region.

1. The Premier Experience: Rock City Hotel (Nkwatia)

If you are looking for a "Rooftop Bar" vibe in Kwahu, this is the definitive destination. It is the largest hotel in the region (and one of the largest in Africa), sitting high on the Nkwatia mountains.

  • The Experience: They host the biggest parties, often featuring top Ghanaian artists (Highlife/Hiplife) and DJs. While it has a massive underground nightclub, its elevated terraces and pool areas offer incredible views of the valley, giving it that "rooftop" feeling.

  • What to expect: Premium drinks, a very large crowd, luxury car displays, and a high-energy atmosphere.

  • Best for: The "main event" feeling on Saturday or Sunday night.

2. The "Wrap Up" (Easter Monday)

The "Wrap Up" generally refers to the final festivities on Easter Monday. This is when the paragliding ends and the last street jams take place before people head back to Accra.

  • Where it happens: The streets of Obomeng and Obo are the centers of action. While not strictly "rooftop," many smaller hotels and pubs with balconies (like Wags Hotel or spots in Obo) become makeshift rooftop bars where you can look down on the street carnivals.

  • The Vibe: Casual, chaotic fun, loud music, and street food.

3. Other "View" & Bar Spots

If Rock City is too crowded, these venues offer elevated views or a solid bar experience:

  • Wags Hotel (Obomeng): Located in the heart of the action. It often has a lively terrace/bar area where you can soak in the street carnival atmosphere from a safe distance.

  • Modak Royal Hotel (Pepease): a bit quieter but offers a nice pool/bar setting if you want to escape the noise.

  • Onyame Bekyere Hotel: Known for having a decent view and bar setup.
